2010 Edgerton Fishing Derby
Fishing Derby
This year hosted 56 kids from Edgerton Area.  The weather perfect and the fish were a
plenty.
Two age groups ages 0-7 and 8-14 fought the fish.  Glen and Cindy Johanson helped
with registration and recording the fish.
Bait was provided by X-Press Bait in Gardner and T-Shirts by Edgerton Quarry.  With
the help from Patrick Reavey, Dees Mini Mart, and the City of Edgerton, everyone got
a cool prize.
A huge 3lbs Bass topped the scales this year and was the envy of even some of the
adult fishermen.
Chad Bartels handled the scales, and Shelby Roberts along with her husband and
Mayor Don, helped with recording.
The contestants were served hot dogs, chips, and drinks by help from area business
and cooked by Dave owner of Sign Here.
